On July 25, 2023, 19-year-old Briana Latasha Arrington was found fatally shot on Shagbark Drive in Greensboro, North Carolina. Responding to reports of an aggravated assault, Greensboro police discovered Arrington with gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tragically, this incident occurred just a week after the death of her brother, 21-year-old Christian Arrington, who was shot and killed on July 18 in Forsyth County.
Authorities have stated that there is no indication that the two shootings are related.
In connection with Christian's death, 20-year-old Quay'mon Nicholas Swaringen was arrested and charged with murder by Forsyth County deputies. However, as of the latest available information, no arrests have been made in Briana's case.
