On December 5, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, resulting in the deaths of 35-year-old Sandra Sanchez and her father, 57-year-old Enrique Sanchez Rodriquez Sr. According to the Bladen County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Governors Estate Drive, near Dublin, shortly after 4 a.m. The initial investigation suggests that during a family gathering, Rodriquez shot his daughter, Sandra.
