On January 21, 2024, at approximately 1:11 a.m., the Gaston County Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at 812 Stowe Lane in Gastonia, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Gabriel Barrios Hernandez lying in his yard with gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Hernandez succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
