On February 21, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina, 3-year-old Carter Jeijhan Kenneth Griffin Jimenez tragically lost his life due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. at a residence on Eastway Drive, where Carter discovered an unsecured firearm and accidentally shot himself in the head. Emergency services were promptly called, and Carter was transported to a hospital. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
