On August 21, 2024, at approximately 5:56 a.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of Carnage Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old S.T. Vaughn III suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, Vaughn was pronounced dead at the scene.
