On September 25, 2024, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Pembroke police responded to a shooting incident in the 500 block of Lowry Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 53-year-old Keith Oxendine suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, Oxendine succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have identified a person of interest in connection with Oxendine's death. While the individual's identity has not been publicly disclosed, police have indicated that there is no imm ...
