Jeffrey Briggs, a 51-year-old male from Pembroke, NC, died on November 25, 2019, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. His death was the result of a gunshot wound sustained during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred at his residence on Paul Road in Pembroke. According to reports, Briggs had recently moved to Robeson County from Winterville, Georgia. On the night of the incident, he was involved in an argument with his girlfriend when he was shot.
