On October 6, 2024, at approximately 2:33 a.m., 46-year-old Anthony Maurice Lyons was fatally shot inside a residence at 612 N. Pollock Street in Selma, North Carolina. The Selma Police Department, in collaboration with the Johnston County District Attorney’s Office, conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
