On October 26, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Sampson County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire at the Brantwood Court Apartments in Roseboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered two brothers, Frederick Dixon, 46, and Leo Dixon, 40, lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.
