On October 26, 2024, Frederick Dixon, 46, and his brother, Leo Dixon, 40, were fatally shot in the parking lot of Brantwood Court Apartments in Roseboro, North Carolina. Emergency responders arrived around 11:30 p.m. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

In the weeks following the incident, the Sampson County Sheriff's Office conducted an intensive investigation, identifying 24-year-old Elijah Tushawn Davis of Roseboro as the primary suspect. ...
