In the Laconia section of the East Bronx, a burst of violence on a Saturday afternoon left a young man dead. On June 17, 2023, at approximately 4:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting near the New York City Housing Authority's Eastchester Gardens. Upon arrival at 1219 Adee Avenue, officers discovered 22-year-old Miguel Molina with a gunshot wound to his chest.
