In the early morning hours of July 5, 2023, a single gunshot shattered the pre-dawn stillness of an Inwood street, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Angel Cruzeta, a 30-year-old male resident of the neighborhood, was discovered outside a building on Vermilyea Avenue, near West 204th Street, with a fatal gunshot wound to his face.
