Spencer was taken into custody and faced a litany of serious charges, including second-degree murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. Further inquiries by the New York Police Department unveiled a shocking conspiracy. It is alleged that Daniel Spencer did not act alone. His own 20-year-old son, Khaeir Spencer, was also implicated in the commission of the crime. Investigators believe the father and son duo, masked and with their heads covered to obscure their identities, entered David Brown's apartment with violent intent. The case took another dark turn with the arrest of a third individual, Tetikwa Horace, who was not only Brown's girlfriend at the time but also Khaeir Spencer's mother and Daniel Spencer's ex-girlfriend. Authorities have accused Horace of facilitating her ex-boyfriend and son's entry into the apartment. In a calculated move to aid in the concealment of the crime, she is also alleged to have removed a surveillance camera from her front door as she left.
