On October 6, 2023, 17-year-old Destiny Coston was found fatally shot in her home on Gordon Street in the Clifton neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. Responding to a 9:15 p.m. emergency call, police discovered her with a gunshot wound to the forehead, just above the eyes.
