Pauline Cerasoli, age 71, died on December 26, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained during a brutal beating in Atlanta, Georgia, back in 1996. Cerasoli had been attending a conference in Atlanta when she was attacked. The assailant entered her hotel room and violently assaulted her, leaving her in a coma. After years of being in a coma and long-term care, Cerasoli passed away from complications related to the injuries she suffered during the attack.
