Tyna Marlena Bass, a 41-year-old woman from Atlanta, was found deceased on May 4, 2015, under tragic and disturbing circumstances. Her body was discovered wrapped in a rug and placed inside a trash can near the Freedom Barkway Dog Park in northeast Atlanta. A man walking his dog stumbled upon the body, which had been dragged through the grass to the location. Police responded to the scene, but the cause of death was not immediately released.
