In the spring of 2024, a weekend in Rochester, New York, was marred by a spate of violence that left three people dead in just 24 hours. One of the victims was 35-year-old Ricky Elliott. On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Elliott was shot and killed on Day Place in the city. His death was one of three homicides that shocked the community and prompted public appeals from law enforcement for assistance.
