In the early morning hours of May 28, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex in Monticello, New York, leaving a woman dead and a man seriously wounded. The female victim was identified as 48-year-old Amy Redmond of nearby Smallwood. Responding to a 911 call shortly after 12:30 a.m., Village of Monticello Police officers arrived at the Terri Lane apartment complex to find Redmond and an adult male inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot ...
