Davis had sustained a fatal shot to the
head. He was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead. The two other victims, a 26-year-old man with wounds to his abdomen and shoulder and a 33-year-old man shot in the torso, were also transported to the same hospital. The younger of the two was listed in critical condition, while the older man was in stable condition.
Those who knew Shaquille Davis, a father to a son, remembered him as a kind, pure, and genuine individual. He was described as a proud father and a great friend who had a 'heart of gold.' His sudden and violent death sent ripples of grief and fear through the community.
