In the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, a burst of gunfire on the evening of September 30, 2024, tragically cut short the life of 32-year-old Shaquille Oody Davis. The shooting, which occurred around 5:20 p.m. at the Lafayette Gardens Houses on Dekalb Avenue, also left two other men wounded.
