On March 16, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 22-year-old Lawrence "Lorenzo" Carr Jr. was found shot inside a vehicle in the 10400 block of Monarch Drive in Castle Point, Missouri. Police responded to the scene following a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered Carr inside a car that had crashed into the front yard of a residence.
