In the late evening hours of Thursday, June 1, 2023, a violent incident unfolded in the Fountain Park neighborhood of North St. Louis, resulting in the death of 39-year-old Aaron Lee. The shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bayard Avenue, situated near Page Boulevard. St. Louis Metropolitan Police officers responded to the scene after reports of gunfire in the residential area.
