In the summer of 2023, the life of 15-year-old Carter Paul Smith was tragically cut short in Saint Joseph, Missouri. On the evening of June 15th, the young man, a student at Benton High School, was fatally shot. His body was later discovered near the intersection of 28th and Commercial streets.
