In the early morning hours of November 8, 2023, a tragic event unfolded in a home on Lynch Drive in Bucyrus, Missouri, resulting in the death of 31-year-old Tiffany M. Angel. A male resident of the home, aged 38, contacted Texas County 911 dispatch at approximately 3:02 a.m. to report that he had shot a person he believed to be an intruder attempting to enter his residence.
Upon firing the weapon, the man discovered that the individual he had shot was his roommate, Tiffany Angel. When Texas County Deputies and the Texas County Coroner arrived at the scene, Ms. Angel was pronounced deceased. The male resident was taken into custody and transported to the Texas County Sheriff's Office.
The man was held for 24 hours before being released from custody as the investigation continued. Authorities stated that a probable cause statement would be sent to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney for review.
