Death by Force

On November 12, 2023, 43-year-old Christopher Barnhill was fatally shot at a MotoMart gas station near the intersection of Chippewa Street and Jefferson Avenue in south St. Louis. Police responded to the scene shortly after 7 p.m. and found Barnhill lying on the ground next to an Acura TSX, barely conscious and breathing. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
