On January 6, 2024, 27-year-old Michael Rice was fatally shot in his residence on the 5500 block of Page Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. Officers responding to the scene found Rice near the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his stomach; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
