On February 3, 2024, 40-year-old Shanchez Jordan was found deceased on a sidewalk in St. Louis's Dutchtown neighborhood, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the forehead. Jordan resided in the 4100 block of Lafayette Avenue.
