On May 8, 2024, 77-year-old Marcia Hess and her daughter, 50-year-old Sara Fox, were last seen in their Columbia, Missouri home. Their absence was reported by a family member on May 18, who noted that personal belongings such as cell phones, wallets, and medications were left behind, and their vehicle remained at the residence.
