On May 13, 2024, a concerned family member arrived at a residence on Cedar Ridge Drive in Pacific, Missouri, after multiple failed attempts to contact the homeowners. Upon looking through a window of the home, the relative discovered the unresponsive bodies of two individuals inside. Authorities were immediately notified and arrived at the scene around 1:45 p.m., where they forced entry into the house. Inside, they found 56-year-old female Mary Ann Gan deceased from a single gunshot wound.
