Death by Force

On July 12, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Corporal Robert Wilson III, a 23-year-old human resources non-commissioned officer assigned to the 84th Chemical Battalion, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in an on-post residence at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Emergency services personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
