In the early morning hours of October 12th, the city of Paterson was disturbed by a fatal act of violence. Adalberto Roman, a 47-year-old man from the area, was found near the intersection of Summer Street and Hamilton Avenue with a gunshot wound to his head. The incident, which occurred around 1 a.m. not far from a middle school, marked a grim milestone as the fifth homicide in the city that week.
