Ava Renee Morgan, a 41-year-old corrections officer with the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority, tragically lost her life on January 6, 2023, in Meadowview, Virginia. Authorities discovered her body at her residence after her husband, George William Morgan, 76, confessed to killing her.
