In a quiet Springfield, Virginia home, a tragic scene unfolded on April 27, 2023, ending the life of 38-year-old Meskerem Belachew Solomon. The grim discovery was made by the family's housekeeper in the basement of their residence on Wild Spruce Drive. Responding to a 911 call around 3:45 p.m., Fairfax County police officers found Meskerem, her brother Amanuel Belachew Solomon, 31, and her husband, Tiku Berhane Gebreeyesus, 47, all deceased from gunshot wounds.
