Death by Force

On the evening of February 25, 2024, Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of West Clay Street near Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon arrival, officers found 55-year-old Derrit Banks suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
