In the summer of 2015, a visit to Atlanta turned tragic for a Florida man, leaving a family to mourn and a community in search of answers. On the afternoon of June 9th, authorities were called to the 1100 block of Greenwich Street in the southwest part of the city, where they discovered the body of Malcolm Omar Lassiter. A 44-year-old African-American male, Lassiter was found to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
