Montez Lamonte Hairston, a 29-year-old resident of Roanoke, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 3, 2024. Hairston was fatally shot in the 3400 block of Melrose Avenue in Roanoke. He was known for his love of helping others and his ever-present smile.
