On January 29, 2023, in Lexington, South Carolina, 48-year-old Chastity Lynne Busick and her 23-year-old daughter, Jasmine Alyse Bailey, were fatally shot in their home. The perpetrator was identified as Chastity's husband, 55-year-old William Peter Busick, who subsequently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
