In the quiet town of Williamston, South Carolina, a grim discovery shattered the community's sense of peace. On the evening of March 3, 2023, Ernesto A. Blanco, a 53-year-old Hispanic male, and his son, Kevin Ernesto Blanco, were found deceased inside their family-owned car dealership, Los Amigos Car Sales. The father and son had been the victims of a violent shooting.
Concern arose when the Blancos failed to show up for a scheduled car sale, prompting a welfare check at their business
located on U.S. 29. When Anderson County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the dealership around 7 p.m., they uncovered the tragic scene. Both Ernesto and Kevin had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, and their deaths were quickly ruled as homicides, launching an intensive investigation into the double murder that had shaken the local community.
The investigation swiftly led authorities to a person of interest. Later that same evening, detectives were able to track down and apprehend a suspect in nearby Greenville. Shamacus Tyrel Adams, a 29-year-old from Anderson, was taken into custody in connection with the killings.
