On May 12, 2023, 14-year-old Mariyah Tishauna Ezell was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds in Ridgeville, South Carolina. Her body was discovered around 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 27 and Timothy Lane. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
