On May 29, 2023, 26-year-old Ajhai Yvonne Taraya Gambrell was found deceased near the intersection of Wells Highway and Porsche Lane in Seneca, South Carolina. The Oconee County Coroner's Office determined that she had died from a single gunshot wound to the neck, classifying her death as a homicide.
