On July 10, 2023, 27-year-old Stephen Wilson was fatally shot following a brief encounter along the 2800 block of Lester Drive in Columbia, South Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies found Wilson with gunshot wounds and an AR-style rifle across his arm. Despite life-saving measures, Wilson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
