In the late hours of a summer evening in Pelzer, South Carolina, a house party turned tragic, abruptly ending the life of 22-year-old Dorothy Suzanne Sterling Cannon. On August 5, 2023, the young woman, known to her loved ones as Suzanne, was fatally shot. A resident of Simpsonville, she was a White female who was born on October 18, 2000, in Greenville.
