In the quiet community of Gresham, South Carolina, the tranquility was shattered in September 2023, leaving a family and community in mourning. On a Wednesday, 35-year-old Charles White Jr., a male, lost his life in a violent encounter that also claimed the life of another individual, Christopher Cooper. The two men were discovered deceased inside a vehicle, the victims of apparent gunshot wounds in what the Marion County Sheriff's Office would later describe as a double homicide.
