On December 25, 2023, 37-year-old Willie David Trotty was fatally shot at a residence on Plantation Road in Jackson, South Carolina. Responding to reports of a shooting around 5:30 p.m., Aiken County Sheriff's deputies arrived to find Trotty unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
