A Christmas Day gathering in 2023 turned tragic in Aiken County, South Carolina, ending in the shooting death of 37-year-old Willie Trotty. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at a residence on Plantation Road in the Jackson area. An argument between Trotty and another man, identified as 26-year-old Jean Pierre Washington, escalated into violence.
