Deontay Jay Lynch, a 29-year-old tax accountant and Instagram influencer from Spartanburg, South Carolina, was found dead from a gunshot wound in a room at the Days Inn and Suites on Roper Mountain Road in Greenville on January 19, 2024. Lynch, known as "DJ" to his nearly 110,000 Instagram followers, was last in contact with his wife, Da'Myra Lynch, around 3:30 p.m. on that day after leaving work at The Hultquist Firm in Greenville.
