On January 30, 2024, 25-year-old Tyreek Tucker was fatally shot in Ridgeville, South Carolina. Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire on Earthas Way around 7:23 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Tucker suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene by Berkeley County EMS.

The Berkeley County Coroner's Office later identified the victim as Tyreek Tucker, a resident of Ridgeville.
