On February 28, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Blacksburg, South Carolina, resulting in the deaths of 49-year-old Darriach Derowne Mack and his sister, 45-year-old Shenita Merchelle Roberts. The siblings were fatally shot during a domestic dispute at their mother's residence on Pearson Street. Authorities identified the assailant as Roberts' husband, 49-year-old Sajad Damon Roberts.
