On a tragic Wednesday morning in Blacksburg, South Carolina, the life of 49-year-old Darriach Derowne Mack was cut short in a violent act that also claimed the life of his sister. Mack, a Black male, was fatally shot on February 28, 2024, at his mother's home on Pearson Street. The incident unfolded around 10:20 a.m. as a result of a domestic dispute.
