On March 23, 2024, 20-year-old Vantrell Hanna was fatally shot in Hemingway, South Carolina. The incident occurred at a family gathering in Williamsburg County, where two others were injured during the shooting. The Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the homicide.
