On the evening of May 1, 2024, 22-year-old Tobias Ezra Williams was fatally shot in Eastover, South Carolina. Deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of a shooting around 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Cottage Court. Upon arrival, they found Williams near a driveway with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate medical assistance from both deputies and EMS personnel, Williams succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
