He was a 47-year-old male from Fort Worth, Texas. On the night of August 28, 2022, he went to the Southeast Fort Worth home of a woman he had been dating. Inside the living room, her estranged husband refused to leave, confronted him at gunpoint, and patted him down; he was unarmed. When he tried to go, the doorway was blocked and a fistfight erupted.
