Death by Force

On May 12, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., a shooting occurred on Evans Court, just outside Mullins, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Devante Marquise Legette. Two other individuals were injured in the incident and transported to the MUSC Marion Emergency Department by private vehicles; they were expected to survive.
